The match began with TOP in the lead. In the first set, the players from Bolesławiec were already leading 8–3, prompting Chrobry’s coach to call a timeout. From that moment, the advantage shifted to the players from Głogów. They managed to level the score at 16:16 and then defeated TOP 25–20.
The second set began well for the visitors. TOP’s players could not break through, and their first points came as gifts from the visiting team. After a series of errors, the players from Głogów began to play more effectively, gaining a clear 17–9 advantage. The visitors owed several points to the officials, who ruled nearly all disputed situations in their favor. This prompted loud protests from the fans and players from Bolesławiec. The Bolesławiec coach also protested. As a result, TOP received two yellow cards, and two points were awarded to the team from Głogów. The second set ended with the same score as the first—25–20 for Głogów.
At the beginning of the third set, the players from Bolesławiec again took the lead. Chrobry leveled the score at 8:8, and from that moment the visitors began to build an increasingly large advantage. The end of the third set was a defeat of TOP’s own making. TOP’s players could not serve effectively. Three consecutive players made this mistake, hitting the ball into the net. In the third set, Chrobry defeated TOP 25–21, winning the entire match 3–0.
