According to the latest information, delays in starting construction of the Handy Bolesławiec Retail Park (2,300 sq m of floor space) on Kościuszki Street resulted from prolonged procedures for obtaining road-related permits. The procedures lasted approximately two years. As reported by the commercial real estate portal propertynews.pl:
Redmond Development President Justin Pearce confirms: “McDonald’s and Redmond have been working together on the project since 2016. Obtaining road-related location decisions requires approximately two years, during which time we secured additional tenants. We are currently finalizing the terms for carrying out the investment with our partners from the construction industry.”
The plan to build a McDonald’s, McCafe™ and drive thru™ restaurant at this location was also confirmed in a statement to propertynews.pl by Krystian Karaś, Real Estate Manager at McDonald’s.
