The incident occurred at around 6:15 a.m. on the A4 motorway near Różyniec. A minibus left the carriageway toward Zgorzelec and overturned. Five people were killed and two were injured. The minibus had registration plates from Ostrzeszów (Greater Poland Voivodeship).
Firefighters, police officers, several emergency ambulances and an LPR helicopter are at the scene.
The A4 motorway toward the border is closed—police are directing vehicles via the Krzywa interchange and road no. 94 to the Godzieszów interchange.
