A modern Amazon logistics centre has been built in Okmiany (15 km from Bolesławiec). The newly built facility has an area of 60,000 m2. The company is due to begin operations in two weeks. Recruitment is currently under way there, with the workforce ultimately expected to number 1,000.

On Wednesday (21 August), Amazon Okmiany organised a meeting for local media. Journalists were given general information about the company, working conditions and the recruitment process. Media representatives were also able to tour part of the facility, including the modern warehouse.
