Problem with the Traffic Lights at the Łokietka–Zgorzelecka Intersection. Hard to Spot Them Among the Vegetation

A reader wrote to us about the Łokietka–Zgorzelecka intersection in Bolesławiec:

It would be nice to be able to see the traffic lights through all this vegetation, [...] with such heavy traffic, cars could barely stop before the crosswalk because everyone thought they were driving on a green light.

She added:

Could you publicize the issue? They should sort it out before autumn comes.

As we managed to establish, the trees whose branches obstruct the traffic signals at this intersection are growing on private property. The District Roads Authority will ask the property owner to trim the trees.
