We have written several times about the major reconstruction planned for the Bolesławiec railway station. We are pleased to announce that the tender has been launched. The deadline for submitting bids is 5 September.

According to the designer, An Archi Group, the building is in unsatisfactory condition. The plans include a comprehensive reconstruction, reinforcement of the ceilings, renovation and restoration of the façade, replacement of the window frames with wooden ones, and replacement of the roof. A white-and-beige plaster façade is planned. The granite plinth will be completed and restored. New entrance steps will also be built and clad in granite. Seats made of exotic wood will also be installed on them.
The interior of the building will also be reconstructed. This will include, among other things, a new granite floor. Transport-publiczny.pl:
Part of the ground floor and the entire first floor will be allocated for the needs of the unit of the Specialist Team of the District Court in Jelenia Góra. The TK Telekom rooms will be preserved. The building will be adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.
