On Saturday (August 10), BKS’s senior team played its final friendly before the autumn round of the regional league competition. Bolesławiec defeated Łużyce Lubań.
BKS were the better team and deservedly won. Our players attacked their opponents from the very beginning. In the 21st minute, Sławomir Dul rose to meet a well-delivered cross from Mateusz Mucha and put us ahead with a fine header.
The team from Lubań tried to respond, but were unable to create a threat in front of Jakub Walczak’s goal. In the 31st minute, Marek Majka increased the lead to 2–0 with a fine volley. The course of the game did not change in the second half, nor did the score. The ambitious visitors tried to score a consolation goal, but had to settle for nothing that day.
Already on Thursday (August 15), BKS Bolesławiec will begin its league campaign. At Spółdzielcza, we will host Włókniarz Mirsk.
