The Bolesławiec City Hall handed over the construction site on the boulevard by the Bóbr River. This is where, as part of the project “Development of the area by the Bóbr River for sports and recreational purposes – stage II,” an Open Activity Zone will be created.
What does this mean?
An outdoor gym with six fitness machines and a relaxation area will be built by the Bóbr River. The relaxation area will feature educational game equipment, an outdoor table tennis table and table football. The project also includes the installation of bicycle racks, benches and rubbish bins.
As part of the development of the area, plants will be planted and a paved path will also be created.
The contractor is Ogrody Jagielski from Bolesławice. The project is co-financed by the government programme for the development of small-scale sports and recreational infrastructure for people of all generations – Open Activity Zones (OSA), 2019 edition, Ministry of Sport and Tourism.
The amount of funding is PLN 25,000. The total cost of the investment amounts to PLN 165,927. The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of August.
