The incident occurred on Sunday, 31 May. At around 9:00 p.m., police officers received a report that a group of young people had smashed a window in the Stary Theatre building using a flagpole.
The police quickly found the suspects. When they saw the officers, one of the perpetrators threw the flag bearing the city coat of arms onto the ground.
The vandals turned out to be residents of Bolesławiec, aged 19 to 20. At the time of their arrest, they were completely drunk. Each had nearly 3 per mille of alcohol in their blood.
The three now face a penalty of up to 30 days in detention.
