From June 17 to 21, the 4th International Military Orienteering Championships were held in Skwierzyna. This year, soldiers of the 23rd Artillery Regiment represented the Polish Armed Forces, securing gold medals in the relay events.

Private First Class Małgorzata Pachnik has been practicing orienteering for twelve years, while Private First Class Mateusz Dzioba has been doing so for fifteen. Both serve in a rocket artillery squadron, and they share the ability to run and orient themselves quickly in the terrain.

They have both won numerous medals at the Polish, European and World Championships, and their participation in the international military competition served as a test before the Polish Armed Forces Championships and as a qualifying stage for the World Military Games in China.

Pfc. Małgorzata Pachnik and Pfc. Mateusz Dzioba took first place and won gold medals in the sprint relay, while the artillerywoman also secured second place in the forest relay.

Congratulations, and we wish them continued success.
