The fourth edition of the “112 Saves Lives” art competition has come to an end. Children from preschools in Bolesławiec took part in the competition: youngsters aged 5–6. The committee selected the five best entries from the 115 submitted. Their authors—just before the summer holidays—received awards from the Bolesławiec County governor Tomasz Gabrysiak.
The entry by Hubert Dziedzic from MPP No. 2 was recognized by the committee at the provincial level! On Friday, June 14, Hubert and his family will travel to the Voivodeship Office in Wrocław to collect his extra prize.
The main aim of the competition is to spread knowledge about the 112 emergency number by reaching as many preschool children as possible. The priority is to emphasize the enormous role of the emergency number in saving lives, protecting health and property, and safeguarding the environment.
For the safety of the public, it is important to regularly remind people of the rules for using 112 and to explain when and how it should be used.
Here are the county-level winners:
- Liwia Kaczeniak – School and Preschool Complex in Iwiny
- Milena Tychowska – Primary School in Parowa
- Hubert Dziedzic – Municipal Public Preschool No. 2 in Bolesławiec
- Lena Krakowiak – School and Preschool Complex in Iwiny
- Emilia Graczyk– Municipal Public Preschool No. 4 in Bolesławiec.
The competition was overseen by the County Crisis Management Department and the Department of Civil, Social and Health Affairs of the Bolesławiec County Office.
