A reader wrote to us about the investment on Grunwaldzka Street in Bolesławiec:

[…] this has all been done badly; there is too little space on these lanes. How are buses supposed to fit there?

And added:

It really is a matter of centimeters. Check it before someone accepts this shoddy work.

Paweł Bednarski, head of the District Roads Authority:

The project was prepared by a designer with the appropriate qualifications and complies with the technical conditions that public roads should meet—including the required lane widths.

Unfortunately, because the intersection is located in a typical downtown built-up area—bounded on one side by the Music School grounds and on the other by a historic park—it was not possible to design wider traffic lanes due to site constraints.
