On Thursday, 16 May, an extraordinary session of the Bolesławiec County Council will be held. Its main item will be a vote on the draft resolution concerning the “appointment of a Competition Committee to conduct a competition for the position of Director of the Healthcare Complex in Bolesławiec”.

Since the coalition governing the county (Bezpartyjni Samorządowcy, Prawo i Sprawiedliwość, Sojusz Lewicy Demokratycznej and Ziemia Bolesławiecka) holds a majority on the Council, adopting the aforementioned resolution appears to be merely a formality.

Let us recall. In April, we reported that the long-serving director of the county hospital Adam Zdaniuk had resigned from the position. Recently, we also reported that the former head of the Bolesławiec Healthcare Complex became the president of the Lwówek hospital.

Who will choose the new director?

According to the draft resolution, the Competition Committee will include:

  • Waldemar Krysztofiak
  • Katarzyna Kujawińska
  • Arkadiusz Żądło
  • Sylwia Chruszcz
  • Dr Andrzej Żuk
  • Roman Jaworski.

Details are available on the website of the Bolesławiec County.
