Yes. I watched T. Sekielski’s film. It is good that he made it. While watching the film, I constantly had my fourth-grade pupils before my eyes; I teach them Polish this year—they are 11, so they are more or less the age of the victims discussed in the film. And I kept thinking: how the f**k can anyone sexually abuse children like that? There is no justification for this. Such perverts must be removed from the Church without any “mercy.” What is more—once again—the thesis that paedophilia in the Church is most often homosexual is being confirmed. To paraphrase Cejrowski—faggots out! And to be clear: people with homosexual inclinations have their place in the Church provided that they work on those inclinations and do not give in to them. Personally, what saddened me in this film was the case of Fr. Makulski, because I was unaware that he was a paedophile. I hope this film will help our superiors make firm decisions in cases involving perverts.
Adam Langhammer’s post of 12 May 2019
Adam Langhammer links sexual orientation with paedophilia and appears not to see his mistake, presenting a homophobic attitude. From the explanations provided to us by the head of the Piarist school, it appears that he does not distinguish the vulgar slur “faggot,” which harms and insults people of non-normative sexual orientation, from “paedophile,” a sexual offender who may be heterosexual or homosexual.
As for the word “faggot,” I used it in a very clear context—for people who harmed children.
an excerpt from Adam Langhammer’s explanation to istotne.pl
There is no school head in Bolesławiec who would speak about homosexual people with such hatred, using the vulgar term “faggot,” commonly regarded as a humiliating slur.
Hatred is a disease of the soul. Because of such hateful attitudes among adults, especially those who have authority and are liked, children hounded 14-year-old Dominik from Bieżuń, who died by suicide in 2015. His schoolmates called him a “faggot,” bullied him, and after his death created a fan page: “Dominik, good that he died.” This is homophobia. This is what it looks like and these are its consequences. It destroys children just as paedophilia does.
Research conducted by the Campaign Against Homophobia, Lambda Warszawa Association and Trans-Fuzja Foundation shows that 63% of young people with homosexual inclinations admit that they have thought about suicide (12% of heterosexual teenagers also have such thoughts).
Research shows that schools are where the most physical and verbal violence against homosexual people occurs. Nearly 70% of homosexual people still hide their orientation. This is caused by fear of rejection and violence. Homophobic jokes and taunts are everyday occurrences. And the phrase “You faggot”—it cuts like a knife.
Homosexual children suffer because of people with views such as those held by Piarist school head Adam Langhammer. His Facebook friends include pupils who may adopt such homophobic attitudes.
Paraphrasing Mr Adam’s Facebook post, let us write that we hope this statement will enable the head’s superiors to make firm decisions concerning a homophobe working with children.
How does Adam Langhammer explain his post?
We asked Adam Langhammer and his superiors the following question:
Can the head of a school display homophobic behaviour on his profile on the assumption that these posts may suggest to pupils that calling someone a “faggot” and equating homosexual people with paedophiles is an accepted standard in the Piarist Order and behaviour consistent with Christian faith, broadly understood morality, and the values represented by the Piarist Order? Put simply: is a homophobic attitude appropriate for a Piarist religious brother?
We received a response from Adam Langhammer, which we quote in full. We are awaiting the Order’s response. Once we receive it, we will publish it in our pages.
Response from the head of the Piarist school in Bolesławiec:
No one from the bolec.info editorial team asked for my permission to publish my post on their portal. I do not intend to influence bolec.info. If they considered the statement interesting, that is their affair. Secondly—please read my entire post: I wrote there about homosexual people: “People with homosexual inclinations have their place in the Church provided that they work on those inclinations and do not give in to them.” The fact is, as shown in Mr Sekielski’s film, that most cases of paedophilia were homosexual paedophilia. The Church also recognizes this problem, which is why in 2005 Pope Benedict XVI issued a ban on ordaining homosexuals as priests.

A religious brother may not know that sexual orientation is irrelevant to paedophilia. There are men who rape girls, and there are also men who rape boys. Benedict’s ban is officially not observed by the episcopates of Switzerland, France, the Netherlands and Belgium, or by religious brothers in the USA, because they know that homosexuality is not paedophilia.
