The long May holiday weekend is under way—a time for travel. Fuel prices The Polish Chamber of Liquid Fuels publishes minimum, average and maximum retail fuel prices at filling stations in Poland on its website. Over the past few weeks, fuel prices at filling stations in Poland have risen by several dozen groszy per litre.

Over the past few months, fuel prices at filling stations in Bolesławiec were even 40–50 groszy higher than at stations in nearby towns. Now, at the beginning of May, the situation has changed. While prices rose everywhere, the price of diesel here was reduced. Let us recall that a month ago this fuel cost as much as PLN 5.49 per litre.

The price difference between Bolesławiec and stations in nearby towns has decreased significantly. It could even be said that prices have nearly equalised. For example, in Zgorzelec, at the new Citronex discount filling station on Słowiańska Street, 95-octane petrol costs PLN 5.21. Diesel costs PLN 5.19 there, while LPG costs PLN 2.29 (prices as of 2 May 2019).
