As a result of the recruitment process, Łukasz Jaźwiec, a councillor of the Bolesławiec City Council, has become the new president of PKS Bolesławiec. He replaced Jacek Subik, who was associated with former Bolesławiec County head Karol Stasik. Subik and Stasik had previously worked together at Zakłady Ceramiczne Bolesławiec. After PiS won the election, Stasik ceased to be the head of the plant but became head of Bolesławiec County. Subik, in turn, became head of PKS, in which the county holds shares.
Unfortunately, after the most recent local elections, Karol Stasik was unable to maintain his position and form a coalition, and ceased to be county head. A coalition was formed by people associated with President Roman, PiS, SLD and Ziemia Bolesławiecka.
Łukasz Jaźwiec ran in the election from President Piotr Roman’s camp. Until now, he managed Termy Bolesławieckie.
