On April 25, the Volunteer Fire Service in Nowogrodziec received a new petrol-powered rescue chainsaw, which Mayor Robert Relich handed over to Andrzej Dutkowski, president of the Nowogrodziec Volunteer Fire Service.

The chainsaw is essential for firefighters conducting rescue operations involving large windthrown trees and, thanks to its specialized guide bar and chain, for interventions involving the dismantling of burning wooden structures and roof coverings at risk of reigniting. Equipping the unit with a new petrol-powered chainsaw will improve its operational readiness.
The equipment was purchased from the budget of Nowogrodziec Municipality.
