Readers continue to report that the lighting at the new roundabout near Łaziska is still not working. We asked the Lower Silesian Roads and Railway Service what is causing this and why it is taking so long.

As previously announced, at the end of January this year we sent the Bolesławiec Municipality, based at 1a Teatralna Street in Bolesławiec, all the documents necessary to conclude an agreement for the supply of electricity to power the road lighting installed at the roundabout in Łaziska [...] as part of the road investment involving Bolesławiec’s south-eastern bypass. Bolesławiec Municipality received these documents on 29 January 2019.
The director added:
To this day, [czyli do 25 kwietnia – przyp. istotne.pl] has not concluded the agreement (road lighting is the municipality’s own responsibility, as provided by law).
We do not know the reasons for the Municipality’s inaction in this matter. Please direct your question to the Head of Bolesławiec Municipality.
We did so. We are waiting for a response from Bolesławiec Municipality.
