It is now certain: the long-serving head of the Zakład Opieki Leczniczej in Bolesławiec Adam Zdaniuk has resigned from the position.
The official statement from Powiat Bolesławiecki on the matter:
The current director of SP ZOZ, Mr Adam Zdaniuk, submitted a request to the County Board to terminate his employment. The request was referred to the Social Council of SP ZOZ, which gave it a unanimous positive opinion.
Did the hospital’s current condition influence the director’s decision (as we reported in the article County hospital with a PLN 1.7 million loss. There will be a consortium with the Lwówek facility)? Or perhaps the rumours that the County Board was planning to change the person managing the ZOZ? It is not known. The person concerned only mentions “objective factors”.
