On 8–10 May, the finals of the National Youth Olympics in indoor sports were held in Staszów (Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship). Almost 250 athletes from all over Poland took part in the competition, including Krystian Marzec, a representative of the Bolesławiec Taekwon-Do ITF Club.
This year, the young resident of Bolesławiec won two gold medals in qualifying tournaments for the National Youth Olympics and two bronze medals at the prestigious Viking Cup 2009. In Staszów, he competed in the patterns category and won the Polish championship title.
