Miss Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival 2018 Daria Stec will take part in the Miss Polski Lower Silesia semifinal, while second runner-up Daria Ostańska and Natalia Maguder will appear in the Miss Polonia Lower Silesia semifinal. Daria Stec will compete to advance from the semifinal in Wrocław, while Daria Ostańska and Natalia Maguder will compete in Wałbrzych.

Daria Ostańska and Natalia Maguder applied to one of the oldest beauty pageants in the world. During Miss Polonia’s 89-year history, 39 Polish women have won the Miss title and crown. The amber crown is a traveling trophy, while the title is awarded for life. Miss Polonia winners represent our country in the world’s most important international beauty pageants: Miss World, Miss Universe and Miss Grand International.

Daria Stec chose the Lower Silesian Miss Polski pageant, which is returning after a two-year absence. Miss Polski has been held for nearly 30 years. For many years, the final of the nationwide competition has been broadcast on Polsat, with viewership reaching 4 million people.

The Miss and Mister Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival pageant

Participants in the Bolesławiec pageant are doing wonderfully on larger stages thanks to the event organized by BOK – MCC. The Bolesławiec beauty pageant was first held in 2014. Eight candidates took part in the Miss Ceramic Festival pageant that year. The crown was won by Maja Letko, who qualified for the final ten of Miss Lubusz Land.

In 2015, the pageant was expanded to include a Mister competition, and 11 people took part: six women and five men. The winners were: Iga Gręda and Damian Pikuła. In 2016, ten contestants entered the pageant. The winners were: Paulina Pawłowicz and Kamil Wieczorek. After a one-year break, 12 people took part in the 2018 pageant: six men and six women. The crowns went to Daria Stec and Tomisław Pranić.

The event is organized by the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre – International Ceramics Centre. The co-organizer was Maciej Kołodziejski, who encouraged the girls to take part in both castings to see what potential they had. The main prize sponsor, a driving course in 2016 and 2018, was DM Pabisz Driving School. The media patron is the istotne.pl portal. The events were sponsored by Bolesławiec companies.
