On Monday, May 4, at around 10:00 p.m., a municipal police officer monitoring surveillance cameras noticed a young man lying near one of the establishments in the Market Square. A group of people approached the man and helped him stand up. The officers noticed that one of the men searched the victim’s pockets and stole his bank card.
The duty officer gave the municipal police patrol a description of the suspect. When they saw the uniformed officers, the group began behaving nervously, and the person matching the description fled. The officers apprehended the suspect on Daszyńskiego Street and recovered the bank card. The perpetrator confessed. The Bolesławiec police are investigating the case.
