We have already reported that US Army military vehicles are damaging the road and road infrastructure in Trzebień. After the damage to the fence around a roadside chapel, mailboxes and the surface of the road leading to a nearby training ground, it was the turn of a utility access chamber belonging to one of the telecommunications companies. It was probably damaged after a military vehicle drove over it.

We informed the Lower Silesian Roads and Railways Service about the matter, and it marked the dangerous spot. The company that owns the access chamber is to handle its repair.

The road through Trzebień to the training ground and US Army camp is narrow, and large military vehicles can barely fit on it. The residents of Trzebień should be patient. The problems will end once a new road for the Americans is built.

In December last year, Bolesławiec County asked the Ministry of National Defence to accelerate work related to designing the new road. In January, during a meeting at the Ministry of Infrastructure, it turned out that funding for this purpose had already been secured. Preliminary construction work is expected to begin this spring.

There is no information about the details of the project, however, as they are classified.
