Water was surging from the storm drains near the former Tesco store. Similar situations had occurred in this area before during intense rainfall.
It is worth noting, however, that the situation was stable in other parts of the city. Streets that had been flooded during storms in previous years remained passable this time. This applied, among others, to Spokojna Street near the stadium, as well as Polna and Zgorzelecka streets near the Carrefour store.
Despite the intense rainfall, no major traffic disruptions were reported in these parts of the city.
