The national conference of the Nysa Euroregion, held at the end of February in Jelenia Góra, brought together representatives of 44 municipalities and 6 counties, as well as Marshal Cezary Przybylski, representing the Lower Silesian Voivodeship self-government. (Let us also recall that the head of the Euroregion is the Mayor of Bolesławiec, Piotr Roman.)

As reported by portalsamorzadowy.pl:

The railway-related section addressed the process of the voivodeship self-government taking over railway lines from PKP. The routes concerned are the Jelenia Góra–Mysłakowice–Karpacz–Kamienna Góra; Jelenia Góra–Lwówek Śląski–Jerzmanice-Zdrój; Gryfów Śląski–Mirsk–Świeradów-Zdrój; Marciszów–Jerzmanice Zdrój; Marciszów–Strzegom; Kamienna Góra–Okrzeszyn; and Gryfów Śląski–Lubomierz lines.

“As a result, the entire transport system in Lower Silesia will improve significantly. Residents will gain new connections to work, school and holiday destinations, while tourists will have easier access to many tourist attractions in our region,” explained Cezary Przybylski.
