Before the February session of the Bolesławiec City Council began, local government officials said farewell to three women who are retiring. The first was Mirosława Mitek, who worked at the City Hall for 24 years and had been treasurer of the Bolesławiec Municipal Commune since 2006.
Iwona Mandżuk-Dudek, Deputy Mayor of Bolesławiec:
She was a woman who had money but pretended she did not. Yet when things were difficult, she provided that money.
The head of the Daily Senior+ Home, Danuta Zamaro, also said goodbye to the local government officials. She is leaving Bolesławiec, but, as she emphasized, the city will always remain close to her. (The merits of D. Zamaro were presented by Piotr Roman’s deputy, Kornel Filipowicz, who emphasized that the departing director’s charges treated her like a mother.)
Also retiring is Grażyna Strzyżewska, a long-serving employee of the Bolesławiec City Office and, most recently, deputy head of the Municipal Housing Management Establishment in Bolesławiec.
