Before the February session of the Bolesławiec City Council began, honorary blood donors from Bolesławiec received the Honorary Blood Donor – Meritorious for the Health of the Nation distinctions, awarded by the Ministry of Health, from Leszek Radojewski, director of the Regional Blood Donation and Blood Treatment Center in Wałbrzych, and Roman Bodak, head of the Bolesławiec Municipal Honorary Blood Donors’ Club of the Polish Red Cross named after Dr Jadwiga Waśko-Kwasza.
The recipients were: Antoni Gabryś, Zbigniew Gaweł, Rafał Faliszewski, Ryszard Kołodziej, Mieczysław Ławniczak, Piotr Nowak, Józef Rogala, Robert Pilipczuk, Franciszek Sawicki and Robert Waszak.
