What is happening with the bridge over the Kwisa? The Nowogrodziec local government published on its website a letter from the Lower Silesian Roads and Railways Service, which reads:
DSDIK informs that, due to the poor technical condition of the bridge structure [...], temporary traffic arrangements have been introduced involving the closure of the carriageway.
A tender has been announced for the emergency securing of the structure, including the reinforcement of its construction, enabling the bridge to operate under the previous conditions until the end of 2023 (30-ton load capacity/continued two-way traffic).
Officials add:
During this period, DSDIK plans to carry out a comprehensive renovation/reconstruction of the above-mentioned structure.
