Dear Mr President and Mr Starosta, I voted for you, while my mother-in-law voted for Impuls because she goes to church and likes Councillor Molak. Now she keeps telling me that you do not care a damn about residents, because if Councillor Molak had been the starosta and Councillor Małkowski the president, they would have cleared the pavements on the bridge of snow. I do not know whether they would have done so, but you certainly are not doing it. And the sign proudly stands there, informing everyone who is responsible for the road!

All it would have taken was one person this morning and the pavements would have been cleared within an hour, or perhaps two—there is no need to rush. I ask: what the hell is so difficult about sending one guy with a shovel at seven in the morning to the damn bridge on Mostowa Street?

The pavements on the bridge are covered with snow from the precipitation and with what the snowplough clearing the road piles onto them. A pedestrian has to fight their way across the bridge like some damn commando. Your legs buckle, you sink into the wet slush, and passing cars splash you as well, because there are damn potholes in the bridge. And I, your voter, walk this route, as do other people. Mostly older people, because a young person will get into a car and only splash an elderly person while driving past. Less affluent people who do not have a car also use it, and they would, for heaven’s sake, like to cross this damn bridge with dignity—the bridge you do not take care of.

This slush is already melting and will soon turn into an ice rink. On behalf of other people, I ask you: for heaven’s sake, do something about these pavements. What is the problem? Surely one guy and one shovel can be found in two large offices!
