On Monday, April 27, Bolesławiec police detained a 27-year-old resident of Bolesławiec who was selling illegal tobacco products. The man carried out his activities at one of the city’s marketplaces. He approached people and offered them cheap cigarettes. He was caught when he tried to sell them to a police officer.
Officers found 750 branded cigarettes on the suspect. Investigators are determining where the illegal tobacco products came from.
The 27-year-old now faces up to two years in prison.
