The Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre invites you to Carnival Sports Saturday, which will take place on 19 January in the gymnasium of Primary School No. 1 in Bolesławiec (ul. Jana Pawła II).
At 1:00 p.m. a basketball game will be played between US Army and soldiers of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment.
At 3:00 p.m. a football match will begin. The US military’s opponents will be... representatives of the City of Ceramics.
Let us recall. Recently, our artillerymen faced the Americans on Tuesday, 6 November of the previous year. The goal: to commemorate Independence Day, this time the Polish one. (On 4 July, at I LO, soldiers from Bolesławiec and the United States commemorated the American holiday with a basketball game.)
The Americans prevailed in both cases, which does not mean that our artillerymen gave up without a fight. The November meeting was very even from the outset and ended with a score of 55:47 for the visiting team.
What will happen this time? Come and see for yourself.
