After losing at the German Open, Krzysztof Jasiński announced that he would return from the next tournament with a medal. He kept his word. He won silver at the Class A taekwondo WTF tournament in Belgium. In the final, the athlete from Bolesławiec lost to a competitor from the Netherlands. Since January this year, Krzysztof has been a member of Poland’s junior national team in Olympic taekwondo.

On April 17–18 in Bogatynia, UKS Ilyo athletes competed in the final qualifying tournament for this year’s Polish Championships, which will take place on May 17 in Ciechanów. Patrycja Piasecka came second in the up-to-49 kg category, while Grzegorz Kozioł placed third in the up-to-58 kg category. Five athletes from the Bolesławiec club have now qualified for the finals of the Polish Youth Taekwondo Championships (WTF).

The next test of our athletes’ form will be the final of the National Youth Olympics (OOM) in WTF Taekwondo, which will take place on April 23–25 in Końskie (Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship).
