The incident occurred on Saturday (22 December) at the 35th kilometre of the A4 Motorway, near Brzeźnik. Five passenger cars collided there. Firefighters and police are at the scene.

Fortunately, no one suffered serious injuries. The A4 Motorway towards Wrocław is partially blocked. Traffic is moving in one lane, and huge traffic jams are forming. The line of cars already begins near Czerna.
Drivers are using a diversion via National Road 94, where traffic jams are also forming. The largest one is at the entrance to Bolesławiec from the direction of Zgorzelec. The traffic jam is forming near the Bolesławiec sign.
Drivers are also facing traffic jams on the A4 towards Wrocław, from the Łąka interchange to the interchange near Szczytnica. The difficulties are caused by pre-Christmas traffic (people returning to Poland).
