The “Rzepa” columnist Jacek Nizinkiewicz writes in his article:

Support for PiS remains high. Economic indicators are favorable. The opposition remains more divided and fragmented than united. The KNF scandal and the SKOK affair have not yet spread enough to strike the authorities with the force of the Rywin affair or the wiretapping scandal. Any increases in energy prices, and consequently increases in the prices of all products and services, can be halted for the coming months. And most importantly, early parliamentary elections would be held before the European elections, which PiS, as a party perceived as eurosceptic, could lose. Psychologically, the effect of losing the May European elections could carry over into the result of the autumn parliamentary elections.

He adds:

We will find out as early as January whether early elections will take place. The decision rests with one person. And Jarosław Kaczyński has shown many times that he is capable of going all in.
