As part of this year’s campaign to help families in a very difficult financial situation, the artillerymen helped Ms Kinga, who, despite serious health problems, single-handedly supports her household and raises three children.

Although the finale, during which the “noble gift packages” reached those in need, was held on 8–9 December, preparations to participate in the campaign began earlier.

Thanks to the commitment and solidarity of all personnel corps of the 23rd Artillery Regiment, funds were collected to purchase food products, household chemicals, cleaning supplies and school supplies. This year, the family in need also received an electric cooker, a refrigerator, a desk and a mattress.

The purchase and delivery of gifts to the family in need was once again coordinated by Senior Corporal Mariusz Skrętowski, and several dozen soldiers of the Bolesławiec regiment took part during the finale.

The artillerymen also helped load packages for other families in need and distribute them throughout the town and surrounding area.
