Firefighters from OSP KSRG Czerna (Nowogrodziec municipality) received information from residents on Wednesday that someone had scattered large nails on the emergency roads leading to the emergency access points at MOP Czerna on the A4 motorway.
Firefighters:
We immediately notified the road manager and owner, namely the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways – Wrocław branch.
The GDDKiA spokesperson informed the firefighters that the office had checked and confirmed the report from residents of Nowogrodziec municipality. She also said that the matter had been reported to the police.
Firefighters:
We are now asking ourselves what was going through the minds of the people who committed such an act. We can only be glad that no accident has occurred on the motorway recently and that we have not had to use these access points.
