As we have learned, MOSiR originally planned to open the facility for St. Nicholas Day. However, the date was postponed. The reason? Weather conditions.

The ice rink will probably open next week, but in a new location: at the Water and Sports Centre on Spacerowa Street.
Let us recall. At the beginning of November, we wrote that when we published information about the construction of the Ibis hotel, readers began asking about the future of the ice rink from ks. Popiełuszki Square. We already reported then that this year the ice rink would be moved to the OWS on Spacerowa Street.
If the new location proves suitable, the facility will remain there permanently. If not, the ice rink will probably be located in the area between the city stadium on Spółdzielcza Street and the Czarny Kot pub.
