Around 30 people took part in the initiative, including county councillor Stanisław Zmaczyński and city councillor Piotr Klasa.
The residents were assisted by GreenTech from Warta Bolesławiecka, which provided a container and will transport the waste to Trzebień, and the municipal company MZGK, which provided waste bags, transported rubbish from the collection points to the container, and accepted the waste in Trzebień.
It is fantastic that many people came to clean up Kolonia together with their children.
The Bolesławiec cleanup campaign is gaining momentum. Bartosz Mikulski does not rule out the possibility that in six months Bolesławiec residents will clean up, for example, the Starzyńskiego or Kwiatowe housing estate. The residents managed to collect... 5,280 kg of rubbish. Once again, bravo!
Let us recall. We recently reported that Bartosz Mikulski—together with his father—decided to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence in an unusual way.

Bolesławiec residents cleaned up the beaches of the gravel pit known as the “swimming” gravel pit. B. Mikulski:
[…] together with my dad, we celebrated 100 years of Poland’s independence!!! Not with a march, flares or flags—but with a rubbish bag!
We cleaned up the beaches of the gravel pit, the so-called “swimming” one. I spent every summer of my childhood on that beach.
The two men collected 190 kg of rubbish from an area of around four ares.
The campaign organiser stressed: “I hope that thanks to my initiative, people will think before illegally dumping rubbish.”
And he immediately announced:
This is not just a one-off campaign! The next campaign will take place on 1 December, if it does not snow.
