The new bypass towards Jelenia Góra opened on Friday. Please ask the relevant services why the roundabout on the Łaziska side is still unlit, even though there are streetlights there.

Leszek Loch, head of the Dolnośląska Służba Dróg i Kolei, explains:

Under the agreement signed on 7 August 2018 concerning connection to the grid between DSDiK and TAURON Dystrybucja S.A., the network works were scheduled to be completed by 30 April 2019. Together with the planned completion date for the works of 30 June 2019, this guaranteed the investment would be completed coherently.

He adds:

Due to the General Contractor significantly increasing the pace of the works, talks were held with TAURON Dystrybucja S.A. about the possibility of bringing forward the works planned for spring 2019 in order to power the lighting at the roundabout in Łaziska.

That did not work out. L. Loch says: “However, we have been assured that the lighting supply at the roundabout in question will be connected by the end of this year.”
