As Bartosz Mikulski informed us, the major cleanup campaign in Kolonia Staszica will take place this SATURDAY, December 1. (Unless it snows; in that case, the campaign will be cancelled).

Want to get involved? Come to the intersection of Łąkowa and Graniczna streets on December 1. It starts at 11:00.

We will return to this topic.

Let us recall. We recently reported that Bartosz Mikulski, together with his father, decided to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence in an unusual way.

Residents of Bolesławiec cleaned up the beaches of the gravel pit, the so-called swimming beach. B. Mikulski:

[…] together with my dad, we celebrated 100 years of Poland’s independence!!! Not with a march, flares or flags—but with a rubbish bag!

We cleaned up the beaches of the gravel pit, the so-called “swimming” beach. I spent every summer of my childhood on this beach.

Across approximately 4 ares, the two men collected 190 kg of rubbish.

The campaign organizer emphasized: “I hope that thanks to my initiative, people will think before illegally dumping rubbish.”

And immediately announced:

This is not just a one-time campaign! The next campaign will take place on December 1, provided it does not snow.
