The incident occurred at around 10 p.m. on Sunday. The driver of a BMW passenger car hit an island at the roundabout on Zgorzelecka Street and rolled over just before the bridge.
Witnesses say he was racing another vehicle, whose driver fled after the incident.
The injured man got out of the car on his own; an ambulance took him to hospital.

The 27-year-old driver from Bolesławiec, who failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions, fortunately did not suffer anything more serious. The man was fined PLN 200.
