As Paweł Bednarski, head of the District Roads Authority, informed us, additional signs will appear at the Tyrankiewiczów–Podgórna intersection any moment now. As for lighting the pedestrian crossing, the reader should contact the municipal authorities, as this is the responsibility of the Municipal Commune.
We will return to the subject.
Let us recall that last week our reader, a resident of Bolesławiec, wrote to us via Facebook:
I would like to shed light on one matter […]. It concerns an unlit and poorly marked pedestrian crossing by one of the main roads in our city: Tyrankiewiczów–Podgórna.
According to the person who reported the issue, accidents frequently occur at this intersection. A pedestrian was killed here once, and candles are still regularly lit at the site.
The man adds that he recently witnessed a situation in which a car almost hit a pedestrian.
What do you think? Do you also believe it is dangerous there? We invite you to join the discussion.
