November 11 is undoubtedly a symbol of love for the homeland, faith, victory and the struggle for freedom. Preparations for this celebration had already been underway for several weeks.

The students learned their roles with great commitment under the guidance of their teachers. The scenes they recreated undoubtedly transported the audience to the atmosphere of those times. The beautiful decorations and the students’ costumes allowed us to better imagine the spirit of those years.

This living history lesson pays tribute to the generations of Poles whose blood contributed to the fact that today we can enjoy life in a free country. We proudly remember the heroes of battlefields, those persecuted or sentenced to exile, who believed and never lost hope that Poland would become independent.

By preparing for and taking part in the performance, the students developed love and attachment to their homeland, its culture and traditions, as well as national symbols.

Independence Day became a very reflective and, at the same time, joyful day at our school, and we hope that this living history lesson will remain in the memories of us and our guests for a long time.
