The incident occurred during the night of October 25–26 in Stare Jaroszowice (Bolesławiec municipality). The Stare Jaroszowice Facebook profile stated:
Attention: THIEF!
I would like to inform you that someone broke into the utility room at the Community Center in Stare Jaroszowice last night. Several valuable items were stolen. The matter has been reported, but the perpetrators have not been found. It is possible that other municipal buildings, or even private properties, could become their next targets.
The burglar or burglars stole a grass trimmer, an amplifier, disco lights and an electric heater. The owner estimated the losses at approximately PLN 2,000.
Actions are under way to establish the identity of and apprehend the perpetrator or perpetrators. We remind you that burglary may carry a sentence of up to 10 years in prison, while receiving stolen goods can result in up to five years behind bars.
