On Monday, October 15, after 9:00 a.m., a container of ammunition fell from one of the vehicles travelling in the American convoy. A civilian car drove over the scattered ammunition. Fortunately, apart from a damaged tire on the car, no one was hurt.
The US Army convoy was escorted by military police. The military police stopped the convoy. This caused some disruption. A traffic jam formed on the motorway. Traffic resumed at around 11:00 a.m., reports gazeta.pl.
