Officers from the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, together with road administrators, are inspecting roads of all categories throughout our county. In particular, they are paying attention to:
- road surface condition
- contradictory vertical and horizontal signage
- safety hazards for vulnerable road users (pedestrians and cyclists)
- correctness and legibility of railway crossing signage
- incorrect or unnecessary signage
- illegible signage
- missing or damaged road safety equipment
- lack of sidewalks, particularly in towns and villages through which national and provincial roads run
- the danger posed to road users by trees growing along the road shoulders.
