The competition received 67 entries in two categories: the city of Bolesławiec and the city of Zittau. Participants presented different perspectives on both cities. The best works were awarded prizes. In addition to the prize-winning works, a further 16 photographs were selected for an outdoor post-competition exhibition. All 24 works were also included in a special bilingual calendar for 2019, published by the competition’s organizer: Bolesławiecki Ośrodek Kultury – Międzynarodowe Centrum Ceramiki.

“One of the final outcomes of the activities carried out as part of the ‘Culture Without Borders’ project is a post-competition calendar in which we can admire the best works by talented photographic artists from Bolesławiec. The standard of the entries was so high that selecting the best 24 works was quite a challenge,” says project coordinator Dariusz Uściński.

An exhibition was also organized, and the works were displayed in the square next to BOK – MCC during the June City Days, as well as at the Municipal Amphitheatre on ul. Tyrankiewiczów.
