It only took a moment of inattention on the part of the 37-year-old dog owner for the animal to run onto the road and be hit by a car. The incident took place on Żwirki i Wigury Street in Bolesławiec. The police were called to the scene. The dog's owner was cautioned and then took the injured animal to a veterinarian.
Owners of four-legged friends should remember that they are responsible for their pets. If an unsupervised animal runs onto the road and is hit, its owner may be fined.
