Primary School No. 5 on Dolne Młyny Street carried out the “Applause at the Tripoint” project in cooperation with its partner school in Zittau. This was yet another joint project involving the schools. In April this year, students from Primary School No. 5 took part in a week-long project to mark World UNESCO Day. Young people from Bolesławiec, Sulików, Zittau and Heisenberg worked in groups that created projects on the following themes: nature and the environment in photography and art (an exhibition of the children’s photographs decorates the school corridor), socially engaged citizens, sport unites us, and technical innovations.

Another project activity involved learning the secrets of circus arts. The event concluding the week-long workshops was a circus show featuring 280 workshop participants from Germany and Poland, along with their instructors from the countries of the Tripoint. Both projects were financed by the European Union under the Interreg Poland–Saxony programme.
