As reported by Bolesławiec City Hall: – Work on the construction of the sports complex, together with the accompanying infrastructure, has been completed. Students and sports enthusiasts have excellent conditions here for practising sports.
What was built at Primary School No. 5 in Bolesławiec?
- A 160-metre circular track with a synthetic surface;
- a long-jump pit with a runway connected to the track;
- a high-jump area with a synthetic surface;
- multifunctional courts with playing areas for handball, mini-basketball, volleyball and tennis;
- a shot-put circle;
- fitness-trail equipment: a moving footbridge, hurdles, fitness poles and a horizontal ladder.
City officials add: – Small architecture elements have been installed on the school grounds. The complex is fenced. The contractor is BUD – ZIEM from Pszenno. The value of the project is PLN 3,030,192. The funds come from the budget of the city of Bolesławiec.

It is worth recalling that, during the first stage, a beach-volleyball court and a multifunctional court for basketball and volleyball with a synthetic surface were built next to the school.
The construction of the new sports complex has expanded the facility’s functionality. The group of courts is fully accessible to people with disabilities. Sports enthusiasts will have excellent conditions here for practising sports, developing their sporting interests and skills, and spending their free time.
